Illinois HB2737 amends the Barber, Cosmetology, Esthetics, Hair Braiding, and Nail Technology Act of 1985 by changing the qualifications and requirements for various licenses. It allows schools to provide up to 50% of the required hours for theory portions of the practicum through online or distance study and permits a maximum of 10% of the required hours to be completed in an internship program.
