Illinois HB2695 establishes the Human Services Equitable Pay Act to address compensation disparities among human services workers.

Illinois HB2695, the Human Services Equitable Pay Act, mandates the Department of Human Services to commission a Human Services Compensation Study. This study will analyze the compensation rates, including wages and benefits, of positions funded by the Department and compare them to similar positions in the human services sector in Illinois and nationally. The study will also compare compensation levels in different settings and for different education levels, including a comparison of compensation for State employees, human service providers, and for-profit private sector employees with.
