HB2686 amends the State Finance Act and State Revenue Sharing Act to adjust distributions from the State and Local Sales Tax Reform Fund and Local Government Distributive Fund. It specifies that certain provisions concerning these distributions constitute an irrevocable and continuing appropriation. The bill also mandates that the Department of Revenue allocate funds based on the latest census data and adjust allocations for annexations or disconnections of territory. Effective immediately upon becoming law.
