HB2675

VEH CD-BIKE TRAIL SIGNAGE

Complete·8/15/25

Illinois HB2675 mandates permanent warning signs for highway crossings on publicly owned paved bicycle trails.

Illinois HB2675 amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to require the authority responsible for publicly owned paved bicycle trails to install permanent regulatory or warning signs at highway crossings. This requirement does not apply if the crossing is already controlled by an official traffic control device. The bill also mandates that the authority install permanent advanced warning signage for vehicular traffic at least 150 feet before the crossing.
