HB2656 amends the Illinois Public Aid Code to ensure that federal holidays are considered paid days for child care providers under the child care assistance program. This change applies to any purchase of service contract or voucher payment agreement the Department of Human Services enters into, renews, or extends with a child care provider. The bill also mandates the Department to include all federal holidays as paid days eligible for reimbursement.
