Illinois HB2652 restricts the Department of Human Services from approving substance use treatment facilities within 1,000 feet of schools and public.

Illinois HB2652 amends the Substance Use Disorder Act to impose a restriction on the Department of Human Services. Beginning on the effective date of this amendatory Act, the Department cannot approve any initial or renewal application for the licensure of a facility providing substance use treatment or intervention services if it is located within 1,000 feet of certain areas.
