Illinois HB2489 amends the Illinois Public Aid Code to require the Department of Healthcare and Family Services to adjust the Home and Community-Based Services Waiver Program for Adults with Developmental Disabilities. The bill removes the 5-hour per day billing maximums for providers of community day services. It does not change the monthly and yearly billing maximums. This change takes effect January 1, 2026.
