Illinois HB2377 amends the Paid Leave for All Workers Act to establish minimum paid leave accrual and usage rules for employees. Employees are entitled to earn 40 hours of paid leave annually, with accrual based on hours worked. Employers may set a reasonable minimum increment for leave usage, not exceeding 2 hours per day. Employees can use paid leave for any reason without needing to provide documentation or certification. Employers must notify employees of any changes to paid leave policies.
