Illinois HB2358 mandates that benefit payments under the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund must start within 30 days of a complete application.

Illinois HB2358 amends the Illinois Pension Code to ensure that benefit payments, including disability, death, retirement, and surviving spouse annuities, must begin no later than 30 days after a complete and correct application is submitted.
