Establishes a pilot program to improve dental care access for veterans in Illinois.
The bill amends the Illinois Public Aid Code to create a 5-year pilot program for dental care access for veterans. Under this program, veterans with income at or below 300% of the federal poverty guidelines will be eligible for comprehensive dental care coverage. The Department of Healthcare and Family Services, in cooperation with the Department of Veterans' Affairs, will administer the program. The program will begin on or after January 1, 2026.
