Illinois HB1875 allows cyclists to pass through stop signs without stopping under certain conditions.

HB1875 amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to allow cyclists to proceed through stop signs without stopping if they slow to a reasonable speed and yield to pedestrians, other traffic, and any oncoming traffic posing an immediate hazard. This exception does not apply at intersections with active railroad grade crossings.
