Illinois HB1832 amends the Department of Central Management Services Law to add 115 South LaSalle Street in Chicago to the list of properties managed by the Department of Central Management Services. The bill also removes the James R. Thompson Center in Chicago from the list of managed properties. The Department is authorized to grant easements and accept easements for these properties, on terms and conditions deemed best for the State. The Department can lease or sublease portions of these properties for up to 15 years, subject to renewals, if it is in the State's best interest.
