Illinois HB1804 amends the Illinois Emergency Management Agency Act to create the IEMA State Projects Fund, a trust fund in the State treasury. The Fund will support target hardening activities, security personnel, and physical security enhancements for not-for-profit organizations at high risk of terrorist attack. Beginning July 1, 2024, the Agency will not award grants to entities whose primary purpose is to provide reproductive health care services. The Fund will also cover administrative expenses related to the Not-For-Profit Security Grant Program.
