Illinois HB1785 amends the Medicaid reimbursement rates for nursing facilities by introducing new calculations and adjustments. Beginning July 1, 2025, the staffing percentage used in the calculation of the per diem staffing add-on will be its PDPM STRIVE Staffing Ratio. The bill also adjusts the reimbursement rates for the support component of the nursing facility rate, increases the Medicaid Access Adjustment, and establishes a variable per diem staffing add-on.
