Illinois HB1749 amends the Interscholastic Athletic Organization Act to require associations or entities promoting school sports to allow student athletes to participate immediately upon transferring and enrolling in a new school. The policy may still prohibit participation until the transfer process is complete and accepted by both principals. Effective July 1, 2025.
