HB1595 amends the Open Meetings Act to require employers participating in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund to post the total compensation package for each employee earning over $125,000 per year on their website or at their principal office. This includes salary, health insurance, housing and vehicle allowances, bonuses, loans, and granted vacation and sick days. The posting must occur within six business days after budget approval. Employers with websites may post physical copies instead, but must provide online access directions. Effective January 1, 2026.
