HB1561 amends the Real Estate Appraiser Licensing Act of 2002 by adding a grandfather clause. It exempts any person or business that was practicing as an appraiser in Illinois as of January 1, 1995, and had at least two years of experience from the required licensure as a certified general real estate appraiser. This exemption will no longer apply after July 1, 2029.
