Illinois HB1538 amends the Sanitary District Act of 1917 to allow the Bloomington and Normal Water Reclamation District to enter into agreements to sell, convey, or disburse treated wastewater to private entities located within 50 miles of the District's boundaries. These agreements cannot exceed 30 years. The bill also allows the Sanitary District of Decatur or the Bloomington and Normal Water Reclamation District to accept wastewater for treatment from private entities within 50 miles of the district's boundaries.
