Illinois HB1236 mandates additional services for students experiencing trauma.

HB1236 requires school districts to provide additional instructional services, support, or special accommodations to students who have experienced trauma, such as the death of a family member by suicide or homicide, or trauma caused by domestic violence or abuse.
