Illinois HB1171 amends the Illinois Insurance Code to require prescription drug cost sharing to include all rebates.

Illinois HB1171 amends the Illinois Insurance Code to mandate that the cost sharing for prescription drugs in health insurance policies be calculated based on a price reduced by all rebates received. This applies to policies amended, delivered, issued, or renewed after January 1, 2026. The Department of Insurance may adopt rules to implement these provisions.
