HB1134 amends the Illinois Public Aid Code to increase the personal needs allowance for medical assistance recipients in specific facilities. Beginning January 1, 2026, the allowance for those in Community-Integrated Living Arrangements facilities will be $100. Starting January 1, 2027, the allowance will increase annually at the same rate as the Social Security cost-of-living adjustment.
