Illinois HB1102 mandates no cost-sharing for annual cervical, prostate, and ovarian cancer screenings for insureds.

Illinois HB1102 amends the Illinois Insurance Code to eliminate cost-sharing for specific cancer screenings. It requires no deductible, coinsurance, or copayment for annual cervical smear tests for all insureds, annual prostate cancer screenings for those recommended by a physician, and surveillance tests for ovarian cancer for those at risk. The Act takes effect January 1, 2027.
