Amends the Illinois Pension Code to preserve pension rights of employees inducted into the military.

HB0739 amends the Illinois Pension Code to ensure that the provisions of a 1941 act and its subsequent amendments continue to apply to preserve pension rights for employees inducted into or enlisting in the land or naval forces of the United States, or ordered to active duty in the military or naval forces of the State. This change maintains the existing legal framework for protecting the pension rights of public employees who serve in the military.
