Amends the Fish and Aquatic Life Code to clarify rules on releasing aquatic life in Illinois.

The bill amends the Fish and Aquatic Life Code to make it unlawful to release any aquatic life into the wild without permission from the Department, except for aquatic life indigenous to Illinois released on private property. It also prohibits possessing, transporting, or releasing any species listed as injurious unless authorized. Violations are misdemeanors. The Department gains authority to regulate non-indigenous aquatic life.
