The Chicago Downtown Revitalization Task Force Act establishes a task force to analyze economic incentives, trends, and best practices for revitalizing downtown Chicago. The task force will analyze all taxes and economic incentives impacting downtown Chicago, research and review trends, examine national best practices, assess industry clusters, and make recommendations for policy changes. The task force will submit a report to the Governor and General Assembly within 12 months of the Act's effective date and periodically thereafter.
