Idaho S1445 declares Norway rats, roof rats, and wild rats as invasive species.

Idaho S1445 amends the Idaho Code to classify Norway rats, roof rats, and any wild and uncontrolled rats as invasive species. Local governments are empowered to control and remove these rats on public property within their jurisdiction and on private property with the owner's written permission. This act declares an emergency and will be in full force upon passage and approval.
