Idaho S1425 amends worker's compensation law to revise the definition of "first responder" for psychological injuries.

Idaho S1425 amends existing law to revise the definition of "first responder" as it relates to psychological accidents and injuries. The bill specifies that post-traumatic stress injuries are compensable if caused by an event arising out of and in the course of employment. It excludes compensation for injuries from personnel-related actions such as disciplinary actions or employment termination.
