Introduced Text

Idaho S1355 exempts certain land subdivisions from subdivision requirements under specific conditions.

Idaho S1355 amends existing law to exempt certain land subdivisions from subdivision requirements. This exemption applies to land divisions made outside of platted subdivisions, provided they meet specific criteria. These include divisions resulting from involuntary transfers, divisions where parcels are not smaller than five acres, and divisions where the landowner is a business entity with certain ownership structures. The exemption also applies to divisions made for the housing, business, or agricultural needs of immediate family members of the landowner.
