Idaho S1339 mandates strategic performance plans for school districts and public charter schools.
Idaho S1339 repeals and adds to existing law to provide for strategic performance plans and training. Each school district and public charter school in Idaho must develop and submit a strategic performance plan to the state department of education. The plan must focus on improving student academic proficiency, college and career readiness, and outcomes for at-risk and economically disadvantaged students. The plan must be updated annually and cover a period of at least four years. The state department of education will evaluate progress reports and recognize top-performing schools.
