Idaho S1329 amends existing law to allow sellers to round cash transactions to the nearest five cents. If the final digit is 1, 2, 6, or 7, the amount is rounded down; if it is 3, 4, 8, or 9, the amount is rounded up. The law also mandates that any fraction of a cent in advertised prices must be prominently displayed. Payment through non-cash means must be settled to the exact amount. The act declares an emergency and takes effect on July 1, 2026.
