Idaho S1322 amends the Idaho Code to revise the requirements for an affidavit in lieu of personal identification for voters.

Idaho S1322 amends Section 34-1114 of the Idaho Code to revise the requirements for an affidavit in lieu of personal identification for voters. The affidavit must now include the voter's name, address, and either the voter's date of birth or the voter's Idaho driver's license or identification card number. The affidavit must be signed by the voter and verified by the judges of election against voter registration records. Providing false information on the affidavit is now a felony. The act declares an emergency and will be in full force and effect on July 1, 2026.
