Idaho S1318 mandates annual audits for entities providing refugee resettlement services.

Idaho S1318 amends Idaho Code to require annual audits for entities providing resettlement services for refugees. These audits must detail the number of refugees served, their nationality, gender, language abilities, housing locations, and health statistics. Entities are prohibited from aiding illegal aliens. If they have, they must provide identifying information for these individuals to federal agencies. The act declares an emergency and takes effect July 1, 2026.
