Idaho S1314 amends and repeals existing law to revise provisions regarding the Board of Health and Welfare, substate administrative regions, and regional behavioral health boards. The bill establishes a state behavioral health planning council to advocate for individuals with behavioral health disorders, advise the state behavioral health authority, and monitor and evaluate behavioral health services. It removes obsolete language and repeals sections related to the establishment and duties of regional behavioral health boards.
