Introduced Text

Idaho S1290 establishes a social access pass program for home school students.

Idaho S1290 amends Idaho Code to create a public school social access pass program for home school students. This program allows home school students to participate in school-sponsored social activities at one public school within their attendance boundaries. The social access pass is valid for one academic year and can be used at school-sanctioned activities such as dances, social events, arts and cultural events, and college and career fairs. Participation in the program is voluntary, and home school students must provide proof of residency.
