Idaho S1245 repeals obsolete and outdated provisions in the Idaho Code related to education.

Idaho S1245 removes outdated and obsolete sections from the Idaho Code to streamline and update state laws. The bill repeals provisions related to public school financial requirements, pay-for-success contracting, high-performing schools and teachers, school building design and energy efficiency, STEM, biliteracy, and workforce readiness and career technical education diplomas, among others. The bill also amends sections to remove obsolete language and declares an emergency, effective July 1, 2026.
