S.1233

Idaho S1233 prohibits state courts from enforcing arbitration decisions based on religious or cultural law that do not fully support U.S.

Idaho S1233 amends the Idaho Code to ensure that state courts cannot enforce, consider, or apply any arbitration judgment, decree, ruling, or decision based on religious or cultural law that does not fully support and conform with the rights of citizens as defined in the United States Constitution. This law aims to protect constitutional rights by preventing the application of certain religious or cultural laws in state court arbitration decisions. The amendment will be effective as of July 1, 2026.
