Idaho H0936 amends Senate Bill 1326a to revise definitions and coordination requirements for federal agents executing search warrants on private land. Federal agents must notify the county sheriff before executing a search warrant on private land, unless exigent circumstances exist. The bill also updates the definition of "government agent" to include any employee or representative of the state or federal government acting in an official capacity. This act is declared to be in full force and effect immediately upon passage and approval.
