Idaho H0887 amends water skiing regulations to exempt certain vessels from observer requirements.
Idaho H0887 modifies existing water skiing laws to allow exceptions to the observer requirement for vessels equipped with a large mirror and operating under specific conditions. Vessels towing water skiers must have a mirror at least four inches square, mounted to allow the operator to see the skier at all times. These vessels are exempt from the observer requirement if they operate between one hour before sunrise and 9:00 a.m. from May through September, or at any time from September through May.
