Idaho H0831 prohibits in-person student instruction on election days.

Idaho H0831 amends existing law to prohibit in-person student instruction on election days. The bill allows local school boards to determine other activities on these days, provided they do not require students to be present in buildings used as polling places. The bill also allows for school closures if conditions warrant it. The changes take effect on January 1, 2028.
