Idaho H0823 amends existing law to revise provisions regarding county fair boards. It allows the board of county commissioners in counties with a population of 200,000 or more to designate the county fair board as an advisory board. If such an ordinance is adopted, the board of county commissioners retains and may exercise the powers, duties, and responsibilities of the county fair board. The ordinance can be repealed at any time, and if repealed, the original provisions apply.
