Idaho H0762 amends existing law to revise provisions regarding public charter school admission procedures. The bill mandates that initial admission procedures for public charter schools be determined by lottery or other random method. Preference in admissions is given to children of founders, siblings of pupils already selected by lottery, children of families with active-duty parents, and students living at or below 185% of the federal poverty level.
