Idaho H0760 amends existing law to revise provisions regarding property tax exemptions for low-income housing owned by nonprofit organizations. The bill specifies that the board of county commissioners may exempt all or a portion of low-income housing from taxation. To qualify, the property must be owned by a nonprofit organization or a related entity, and tenants must not be evicted for three months if their inability to pay is due to a catastrophic event.
