Idaho H0746 allows the issuance of deficiency warrants for costs of providing fire resources for non-wildland fire suppression activities.

Idaho H0746 amends existing law to authorize the state board of land commissioners to issue deficiency warrants for reimbursable costs of providing fire resources for non-wildland fire suppression activities. These warrants are to be used for activities mobilized by established wildland fire and emergency management dispatch and deployment processes. The act declares an emergency and will be in full force and effect from July 1, 2026.
