Idaho H0725 allows the Department of Administration to provide services to cities and other political subdivisions.

Idaho H0725 amends existing law to allow the director of the Department of Administration to provide certain services to cities and other political subdivisions. The services can be rendered under mutually agreed terms and procedures by contract. The cost of any group insurance, group annuity, or health care service coverage provided, as well as the cost of administration, will be borne by the city or other political subdivision. The act declares an emergency and will be in full force and effect on July 1, 2026.
