Idaho H0704 mandates employers to verify the lawful status of workers using the federal E-Verify program.

Idaho H0704 amends existing law to establish requirements for employers to verify the lawful status of workers. Effective July 1, 2026, all businesses and employers in Idaho must enroll in the federal E-Verify program and verify the employment eligibility of new hires.
