Idaho H0702 amends existing law to revise a provision regarding applicability and choice of law, and to remove provisions regarding priority among security interests and entitlement holders, and regarding security interests. The bill specifies that the local law of the issuer's jurisdiction governs certain aspects of securities, while the local law of the securities intermediary's jurisdiction governs perfection, the effect of perfection or nonperfection, and the priority of a security interest in a security entitlement or securities account.
