Idaho H0695 amends Section 6-310A of the Idaho Code to revise the fee for service provided by the sheriff for the immediate removal of unauthorized persons from residential real property. The sheriff is entitled to the same fee for service of the notice to vacate as if serving a writ of possession restitution. The property owner or authorized agent may request the sheriff to stand by to keep the peace while they change the locks and remove the personal property of the unlawful occupants. The sheriff may charge a reasonable hourly rate for this service.
