Idaho H0683 amends law to restrict where sex offenders can reside, particularly near schools and daycares.

Idaho H0683 amends existing law to revise provisions regarding where a sex offender can reside. It prohibits sex offenders from being on the premises of any school building or school grounds, daycare, or other properties posted with a notice that they are used by a school or daycare when children under the age of eighteen years are present. It also prohibits sex offenders from loitering within five hundred feet from the property line of school or daycare grounds.
