Idaho H0678 amends existing law to require individuals setting traps for gray wolves to inspect each trap every 72 hours and remove any caught animals promptly. Inspectors may visit traps in person or use remote transmitting cameras with unobstructed views. The Idaho Fish and Game Commission can adopt rules to implement these provisions. This law declares an emergency and takes effect on July 1, 2026.
