Idaho H0665 amends the law to revise provisions regarding Appaloosa license plates. Owners of vehicles registered under this provision can transfer the plates to another vehicle upon payment of fees. The plates must be approved by the Appaloosa Horse Club and feature an Appaloosa design. Fees for the initial issuance and renewal of the plates are set, with portions of these fees going to the state highway account and the Appaloosa Horse Club Museum and Heritage Center Foundation. The act declares an emergency and will be in full force and effect from July 1, 2026.
